Government trade body partners with Ukie for duo of training sessions aimed at UK business

UKTI hosting free pitching and exhibiting workshops

UK Trade and Investment is hosting a pair of free half day workshops designed to help UK businesses learn tactics for both pitching products and maximising potential at trade show visits.

And games developers are welcome.

Presented in association with UK games business trade body Ukie, the UKTI workshops are open specifically to individuals from UK companies.

Both workshops take place on, Thursday February 21st. The agenda for the day is as follows:

How to Pitch workshop (9.00 am – 1.00 pm) – This workshop is conceived to help you to prepare a three minute pitch for investors or new business development, and covers presentation tactics, key elements of a pitch, and effective delivery.

How to Exhibit workshop (1.30 pm – 5.00pm) – this work shop has been designed to aid companies looking to better their sale opportunities from exhibitions. It will address setting meaningful objectives, and how to open, qualify, present, overcome objections and close deals. The workshop will also offer help with pre and post event activities, and provide tips for stand manning, design and marketing.

Places are already going fast, so interested parties should register at the official website as soon as possible.

The event takes place at Hamilton House in London, UK.
