British game businesses offered £1,000 each for exhibition costs

UKTI to fund Gamescom trips

British game companies are being offered up to £1,000 each to exhibit their business at the upcoming Gamescom event in Cologne.

UK industry association Tiga is behind the deal, working with the UKTI’s Tradeshow Access Programme, as part of a wider scheme to promote UK businesses abroad.

Developers exhibiting at Gamescom will be able to receive £1000 for the booking of stand space, construction and freight.

Tiga has also confirmed to Develop that the deal is not solely eligible to Tiga members, but instead any UK business related to the game industry.

The funds will not redeemable against travel or expenses.

Those interested should email Tiga here.
