Tech firm welcomes industry veterans Elliot Solomon and Erik Juhl

Unity appoints new VP, director of development

Unity Technologies has announced the appointment of Elliot Solomon as vice president for North America Videogaming, and Erik Juhl as director of development.

Solomon is a veteran of more than ten years, having worked with companies such as Disney Interactive Media Group, RealNetworks and Intellectual Capital.

He will be joining the game engine providers at their San Francisco headquarters, and will oversee the business development team.

Juhl held the position of executive director of engineering at WB Turbine and led development at both Midway and Electronic Arts in North America.

He will join the company’s Cophenhagen offices, where he will "provide oversight for development".

“It’s awesome to have Elliot and Erik on board at Unity,” said David Helgason, CEO of Unity.

“We’re incredibly thankful and excited to be attracting talented industry veterans to our team. Their vast experience and dedication will help Unity thrive as a development platform and business on a global scale.”
