Unity claims ‘1m registered developers’

The 3D Engine provider Unity announced today it has reached one million registered users.

The company told Gamasutra that the past three months have been particularly fruitful, with over 250,000 new users since the end of 2011.

The company also claims to draw over 300,000 monthly active users.

Hoping to continue this growth, Unity plans to expand into South America, Asia, and Eastern Europe.
