New localisation office to be led by former analyst William Hugo Yang

Unity growth continues with new South Korea base

Unity Technologies has announced it will soon launch a new division in the South Korean capital Seoul.

The new studio, built for localisation and support, is to be led by new regional manager William Hugo Yang.

"Whether you’re an independent studio or a large development team, Unity offers the tools and assets to make cross platform development a reality," Hugo Yang said.

"As the Korean development community continues to grow, we will provide our expanding Korean user base fully localized tools and documentation, as well as dedicated technical support."

The Unity game engine vendor believes Korea’s thriving online games market is a perfect fit for its tech.
