Firm to offer update on living room PC plans at San Francisco conference

Valve confirms latest Steam Machines at GDC

Valve will be showing off the latest Steam Machines at GDC next month.

The firm recently said it would have a larger than usual presence at the San Francisco event, and in January said it was aiming to make Steam Machines “front and centre”. Valve has now confirmed to press the latest line-up of devices will be on show.

Valve staff will also be presenting numerous sessions during GDC next month. One presentation will discuss the glNext initiative, the future of OpenGL. Alongside EA, Unity, Epic and Oxide, the Steam firm will talk about what’s next for high performance graphics and offer a full technical breakdown of the API.

Don’t forget, the March issue of Develop will be on the show floor all week, giving you the chance to get your company in front of thousands of GDC attendees.
