Witcher studio turns to next-gen triple-A titles

Witcher developer CD Projekt is working on two unnamed triple-A titles and one mid sized budget game, the studio has announced.

The developer revealed that the games would be released in 2014 and 2015 – an indication that the projects are for next generation systems.

The studio is also working on small to mid budget titles due in 2012 and 2013, whilst it also announced the Witcher 2 would be coming to Xbox early next year.

Projekt’s latest release, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, exceeded sales expectations by selling almost a million copies, with 195,000 of those via digital download from Steam.
