BrainPack 2011 combines XaitMap, XaitMove and XaitControl for â?¬6,000

Xaitment bundles ‘cost-effective’ AI pack

AI group Xaitment has revealed a new collection of its “three most requested AI development tools”.

The ‘BrainPack 2011’ comes with XaitMap, XaitMove and XaitControl – three artificial intelligence products which the company is offering together at €6,000.

The firm says this price is “a fraction of the normal cost of game AI”.

Xaitment products are available on multiple platforms, from Windows to Xbox360, PS3, Wii, Linux and mobile OSes.

BrainPack 2011 is a single-seat, one year licence only, though is promised to be a full SDK with no limitations. Updates and upgrades are available to customers, along with access to a moderated support forum.

"You won’t need big budgets anymore to implement your own NavMesh generator, pathfinder or scripting engine,” said Xaitment CEO Andreas Gerber.

“The barrier to entry will be very low and the return on investment is only the costs of one man-month for the company.”
