But Atari and NCsoft confirm no-show; Blizzard and Nexon yet to decide

Zynga set for debut E3 showing

Zynga is to attend E3 for the first time as an exhibitor this year, it has been revealed.

The debut appearance, as spotted by Neowin, comes after the social games giant started the beta of its own games portal away from Facebook, and months after it launched its IPO.

One company that will not be attending however is MMO developer and publisher NCsoft, which said it would focus on events that “allow us to share our games directly with gamers”. Atari has also said that it will not be taking part at this year’s event.

Other notable firms yet to confirm their attendance include Nexon and Blizzard, the latter of which is due to release the long-awaited Diablo III on May 15th.

The annual E3 expo will take place between June 5th and 7th at the Convention Centre in Los Angeles.
