Founder of Facebook game giant to open November conference

Zyngaâ??s Mark Pincus to keynote IGDA event

Mark Pincus will give an opening speech at November’s IGDA Leadership Forum in San Francisco.

Since the first event in 2007, the IGDA Leadership Forum has become a key event for people in the industry and, due to the success of Zynga, Pincus will be seen as an apt as well as exciting figure to open the occasion.

Prior to founding the social network game developer Zynga, Mark Pincus made a career treading new ground in the industry, starting three companies. In 1995 he founded FreeLoader, the first web-based consumer push company and launched Tribe.net in 2003, one of the earliest social network sites to hit the web.

The fourth annual Leadership Forum will be held at the San Francisco Airport Marriott Hotel on November 4th and 5th and will also feature a Scrum Certification course by Clinton Keith.
