E3 2012: Persona 4 Arena NA release date announced

A release date for fighting title Persona 4 Arena was revealed by Atlus at E3 this morning, along with a decision that should please fans of the series.

The game is to feature a dual language option, offering both an English-speaking dub and also the original Japanese recording.

"Persona 4 Arena represents one of the biggest investments in Atlus history," said Atlus VP of sales and marketing Tim Pivnicny. "While it remains a feature we are unable to add in every one of our releases due to any number of factors, we are incredibly excited to be able to offer our fans the frequently requested dual language option in as highly anticipated a title as Persona 4 Arena."

Persona 4 Arena is set to release in North America on August 7th for Xbox 360 and PS3; a Europe launch is still TBD. The game released in Japan back on March 1st of this year.
