$20,000 Street Fighter tournament to take place at SXSW

South by South West has announced the first details of the Fighters Underground tournament, that will take place at the event over in Texas. 

The Street Fighter V competition will see some of the biggest names in the game invited to compete for a share of the $20,000 prize pool. Echo Fox|Momochi, ZOWIE|Gamerbee, Splyce|Filipino Champ, Echo Fox|Justin Wong, EG|Ricki Ortiz, Liquid|NuckleDu, RB.CYG, BST|Snake Eyez, Red Bull|Luffy, EG|K-Brad, BX3|Phenom, PG|Punk, Smug, DNL|Chris, Tatarian, Danke, RB and FourWude are the players that have been invited to the competition. 

The event takes place between March 16th and 18th, which is this weekend, and will be broadcast on the SXSW eSports Twitch channel. Names such as UltraDavid, James Chen, Logan, F-Word, and Yipes will be on hand to cast the action.
