Beyond the Summit announces its first CS:GO event

Beyond the Summit has announced cs_summit, the company’s first ever Counter-Strike: Global Offensive event.

cs_summit will run from April 19th to 23rd 2017, and will take place in Los Angeles, presumably at the Summit house.

Eight of the best CS:GO teams will battle it out for a share of the $100,000 prize pool, with some teams being invited and others coming in through qualifiers. The first invited team is current world champions SK Gaming.

The Summit of course started out as a Dota event, before expanding into Smash. Now with CS:GO The Summit becomes one of only a few tournaments that run events for multiple games.
