Call of Duty World League updates its ruleset to ban Synaptic

The Call of Duty World League has changed its rule set, adding a couple of extra bans.

From now on the Synaptic combat rig, the OSA assault rifle, the Hornet pistol and the Trojan weapon sight have all been banned from competitive play and can no longer be used.

The Synaptic ban is one that many in the scene have been wanting for months. The combat rig has a model that is smaller than other in the game, which many have said gives it a competitive advantage.

The changes come in the wake of the Gfinity London CWL event, and just before MLG Atlanta. It will be interesting to see the differences between the two events because of this rule change.
