Dota Pit bracket revealed, DC vs Secret headline the opening round

The first round of matchups for the upcoming Dota Pit tournament have been announced and some big names are going to be heading to the lower bracket.

The tournament is due to start in Split, Croatia, on Friday January 20th, and now we know what matchups we will be seeing on day one.

Virtus Pro vs Elements Pro Gaming, OG vs Invictus Gaming, Evil Geniuses vs Faceless and Digital Chaos vs Team Secret are the opening round matchups.

The winner of these matches will proceed in the upper bracket with the losers heading to the lower bracket and facing elimination.

Digital Chaos vs Team Secret is certainly the standout match. MiSeRy and w33 of Digital Chaos were kicked from Secret after winning the Shanghai Major around a year ago, and have always made a point of wanting to beat Secret. This will be the first real test for the new Secret roster, who haven’t played a LAN event in quite some time.
