eSports Arena to open in Vegas this week

Millennial Esports has announced that it will open its eSports Arena in Las Vegas this week.

The grand opening will happen on Friday, March 3rd, with the North American Halo World Championship qualifier taking place on the same day at the venue.

The 15,000-square foot arena can hold up to 200 spectators, and has dedicated areas for players to practise and relax. Sounds almost like the Gfinity Arena…

Following on from the Halo event the arena will continue to be used for multiple other eSports, including a Madden NFL 17 tournament in a few weeks.

"As soon as I got into this industry, I knew I wanted to be in Las Vegas and specifically in downtown Las Vegas," said Millennial Esports CEO Alex Igelman when speaking to the Las Vegas Sun (thanks ESPN). "The demographic and everything about downtown fits perfectly with esports."
