FC Basel signs two new FIFA players

Football club FC Basel 1893 has hired two new players for its esports lineup.

Two new FIFA players have been signed to the Swiss side, with Florian ‘CodyDerFinisher’ Muller and Tim ‘The StrxngeR’ Katnawatos joining Luca ‘LUBO’ Boller at the club.

It’s disappointing to see the team double down on their FIFA commitment when there are so many other esports out there they could invest in, but they’ve brought some real talent on board.

Muller won the FIFA Interactive World Cup Regional Finals, and he’ll be playing in the FIWC in the Xbox division. Muller signed with German agency STARK Esports in May this year, with the agency being instrumental in the deal. Katnawatos is also competing in the FIWC
