Final teams confirmed for ECS Season 3

After a long qualifying process the final teams have been locked in for the $1.5 million ECS Counter-Strike League.

In Europe both Fnatic and Virtus Pro managed to retain their spots in the competition after beating North and Space Soldiers respectively in the promotion tournament. This means that North, who played in the competition last year under the Team Dignitas banner, will not be in the competition this season.

In North America there is quite a bit of change. TSM have departed the league as they no longer have a CS:GO team. This is because the team jumped ship to Misfits after the whole PEA incident. TSM’s spot has been taken by Renegades.

In the promotion tournament, new team Bee’s Money Crew defeated compLexity to earn a spot in the league. This means that compLexity will now not play in Season 3 of ECS.

The full list of teams for Europe includes: Astralis, Team EnVyUs, FaZe Clan, G2 Esports, GODSENT, Mousesports, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Team Dignitas, Fnatic and Virtus.pro.

The full list of teams for North America includes: SK Gaming, Cloud9, OpTic Gaming, Immortals, Counter Logic Gaming, Luminosity Gaming, Team Liquid, NRG Esports, Renegades and Bee’s Money Crew.

The competition gets underway on April 14th.
