Immortals CS:GO team in chaos, kNg confirms he’s benched, Teles twins ask to quit

Immortal’s CS:GO team continues its slow implosion as Vito ‘kNg’ Giuseppe has announced he’s no longer on the team’s active roster after an internal suspension, and the Teles twins Lucas ‘LUCAS1’ and Henrique ‘HEN1’ Teles have reportedly asked to leave the team.

This controversy has been steadily growing since the trio allegedly spent the night partying before their Dreamhack Montreal grand final against North, which saw Immortals forfeit a map due to tardiness, turning the best of three into a single map stomp for the Danes. Yesterday, Giuseppe tweeted to announce he’s been benched.

Giuseppe was suspended not as a result of the allegations of partying, or the tardiness, but the death threat he levelled at Pujan ‘FNS’ Mehta, after that player tweeted: “Worst part is I lost to a team with 3 players who were hung over” after a loss to the team earlier that day. "You’ll prove it or i’ll kill you,” Guiseppe tweeted. It’s now deleted, but it made an impact, with Mehta sitting out of the official Twitch afterparty for the event for fear of reprisal from Giuseppe.

ESPN have already reported that the Teles twins now want to leave the team, perhaps looking to team up with kNg. There’s been a rift reported between the trio and the other two members of their roster, Lucas ‘Steel’ Lopes anmd Ricardo ‘Boltz’ Prass, and it seems like this controversy will be what it takes to disintegrate their team, which will cost Immortals their Major legend status, as Valve requires three of five players from the previous Major to remain.
