Kinguin drafts all-stars for weekly Hearthstone league

PC games code retailer Kinguin has announced the formation of the first weekly Hearthstone league – and many of the game’s biggest eSports stars are already on board.

The Daily Dot reports that the roster includes the likes of Cloud9’s Cong ‘StrifeCro’ Shu and Aleksandr ‘Kolento’ Malsh, Nihilum’s Adrian ‘Lifecoach’ Koy, TempoStorm’s Andrey ‘Reynad’ Yanyuk, CompLexity’s Jeffrey ‘SjoW’ Brusi, LiquidHearth’s Janne ‘Savjz’ Mikkonen and none other than TSM’s Jeffrey ‘Trump’ Shih.

The invite-only event will have a prize pool of $25,000, although it will exist outside of Blizzard’s Hearthstone World Championship structure. Players will be split into two divisions, with the event spanning ten weeks.

Kinguin will also produce an associated talk show offering analysis of the competition and interviews with the players.

It all kicks off on March 3rd.
