Overwatch’s holiday event now live

As the year draws to a close everyone is looking head to the holidays, but for those that want to get into the christmas spirit right now you can jump into Overwatch, with its new holiday event. 

The Winter Wonderland event sees a ton of new skins and cosmetics introduced, with the special limited time only loot boxes that we have come to expect from these events. 

There is also a new brawl to play in called Mei’s Snowball Offensive. Everyone plays as Mei, who is equipped with a snowball launcher. Snowball hits are insta-kills, but to reload you must find a patch of snow on the ground and put it into your weapon, leaving you exposed. If you manage to charge up your ultimate then you get a semi automatic snowball launcher which makes things much easier. 

The event is live right now on the main client and runs until January 2nd, so you have loads of time to try it out.
