Super Smash Brothers Melee player David Kim retires due to injury

Super Smash Bros. Melee player David “Kira” Kim has retired due to injury, claiming an ongoing problem with his left index finger as the reason behind his departure.

Kim was ranked the 86th best Melee player in the world last year in the annual Top 100 Players list compiled by website Melee It On Me. and is also known for his YouTube channel, SSBM Tutorials, with instructional videos teaching techniques, character strategies and mentality.

Kira is known for maining Fox and Sheik, and was well-known for his play in Sheik mirror match-ups, where he’d consistently chaingrab opponents.
