Tricked Esport sign former Team Singularity CS:GO roster

Tricked Esport has announced its new Counter-Strike lineup, with the team signing the former Team Singularity roster amidst rumours that sprung to life after the team were spotted Velje last month, the same town as Tricked’s headquarters.

Back in May Tricked Esport announced they wouldn’t be renewing the contracts of their current team, and that complete roster of Nicolai ‘HUNDEN’ Petersen, Johannes ‘b0RUP’ Borup, Asger ‘AcilioN’ Larsen, Michael ‘Friis’ Jørgensen and Allan ‘Rejin’ Petersen are now free agents.

In their place is Peter “Inzta” Kragelund, Thomas “Ryxxo” Nielsen, Mads “Console” Skovby, Lucas “Lukki” Pilheden and Ismail “refrezh” Ali, who have been getting good results in online tournaments recently. The lineup, minus Ali, saw victory at the Copenhagen games several months ago, and are generally viewed as one of the better EU prospect teams, which makes Tricked Esport’s decision to sign them potentially a solid bit of business.

“I’m happy to see Peter ‘Inzta’ Kragelund back in Tricked, he has always been a pleasure working with and is a very dedicated player,” said Morten ‘Phy’ Jensen, sports director at Tricked. “We have tasted what it’s like as an organization, having a Top 30 team in world, so that will be our main goal to get back in that position and not let it be just an aftertaste. This team has a very different approach to the game than our last, so we also have to try and align our training to get the best performance out of them. I don’t think we have seen their true top level yet, and hopefully in our environment we can help them to grow stronger.”
