Final Fantasy Type-0 and Agito headed to the West

Final Fantasy Type-0 and Agito are finally coming to Europe and America.

The former will be coming out for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as an HD remaster, while the latter is headed to iOS and Android.

Type-0 came out in Japan back in 2011 for PSP. It was originally announced as Final Fantasy Agito XIII back in 2006 as part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis sub-series, which also featured Final Fantasy XIII.

Agito on the other hand is a prequel to Type-0 and launched in Japan in May. It will be free but will feature in-app purchases.

Western release dates for neither titles have been confirmed yet.

The voice of our Western fans was instrumental in the development of Final Fantasy Type-0, and we’re very excited to release this title soon,” said Type-0’s director Hajime Tabata.

The PlayStation 4 system and Xbox One have really helped to re-envision this dynamic and turbulent world of Orience.”
