Frontier Developments reveals new title Jurassic World Evolution

Frontier Developments, the studio behind Elite Dangerous and Planet Coaster, has announced its new title. Developed in collaboration with Universal Pictures’ Universal Brand Development arm, Jurassic World Evolution is based on the iconic film franchise and will be launching on PS4, Xbox One and PC in summer 2018 to coincide with the launch of the next film, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

Expanding on the official Jurassic World franchise, players will be put in charge of their own dino tourist park, giving them the opportunity to create and manage their very own Jurassic World.

As well as having control of Isla Nublar, players will also have the surrounding islands of the Muertes Archipelago at their disposal, allowing them to engineer new dinosaur breeds and construct attractions, containment and research facilities across a myriad of different environments.

As long-time fans of the entire Jurassic series we’re thrilled to be putting players in charge of their own Jurassic World,” said Frontier’s chief creative officer, Jonny Watts.

We’re excited to bring over fifteen years of management, simulation, and creature development expertise to a destination and franchise that remains an inspiration to us.”
