GAME Wallet adds new digital payment options

Reward Card points and Gift Card credit can now be combined in the GAME Reward app.

Users of the GAME Reward app will now be able to combine any credit they have gained by spending cash in store with any Gift Card credit into a single GAME Wallet account.

Furthermore, this combined amount can be spent in-store, with the app generating a QR code that cashiers can scan to deduct purchases from a user’s account.

What’s not yet possible is using GAME Wallet funds for online purchases, although GAME maintain s that this will be available in the coming months, along with the possibility of using GAME Wallet with third party stores.

"We’re really excited about this latest innovation of the GAME app and it’s another example of how we’re delivering on our digital strategy – giving our customers new ways to access digital gaming and new innovative ways to pay,” GAME’s insight and reward director Fred Prego said.

GAME Wallet provides a card-less and cash-less way of paying in store as well as helping our customers keep track of all their gaming purchases.”
