Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers releases in May

When Nintendo gave us a first look at the games that are coming to the Nintendo Switch the biggest surprise for eSports fans was Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers.

The remake of the classic fighting game is one of the Switch’s most anticipated titles, with the thought of easy portable split screen Street Fighter getting many people excited.

Now we know that Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers will launch on the Nintendo Switch on May 26th.

One area that has irked fans is the launch price. At $39.99 in the States it certainly isn’t cheap, but with new graphics modes and two new characters in the shape of Evil Ryu and Violent Ken you can see why Capcom is charging so much.

The Nintendo Switch is available today, and has many tournament organisers excited about the possibility of simplifying their event set up. Now we just wait for Smash Bros.
