Journey, Flower and Flow being bundled onto a PS4 Blu-ray

Thatgamecompany’s popular digital PlayStation trio will this summer get a physical release on PS4.

GameSpot reports that the release will be accompanied by the digital release of Journey on PS4 for the first time.

Journey will be on the disc joined by Flow and Flower, both of which are already available on PSN for Sony’s latest hardware. Like its predecessors, Journey will be getting the full 1080p/60fps treatment, too.

It has not yet been confirmed whether existing Journey owners will be able to download the PS4 version for free, as was the case with both Flow and Flower.

Released in 2006, Flow takes place in an unspecified ocean. Players take control of a sea creature that grows as it consumes other creatures, descending to greater depths.

Flower followed in 2009 and sees players using the DualShock 3’s motion controls to guide a petal through a picturesque landscape, growing other flowers and solving rudimentary puzzles.

Journey was released in 2012. It’s a more structured adventure than previous titles and incorporated an unusual kind of anonymous co-op. It is the only one of the three not yet to be released on Vita.
