There’s a new version of Minecraft on the way made specifically for Hololens.
Although the gameplay differences between the new version and the original aren’t clear, the benefits of the Hololens tech certainly are. The user is able to move the game from surface to surface.
In a particularly impressive moment, the player moved it from a flat panel on the wall to the table – where it became an interactive 3D landscape. This digital world can then be shifted around not only from left to right but also up and down, allowing for the exploration of the subterranean world.
The Hololens version will be voice controlled, too, with actions directed by sight alone.
Those with the regular version of the game will also be able to network in for multiplayer, too.
