Monster Hunter 4 sales hit 2.4m

Monster Hunter 4 has come out on top again on Media Create charts, as sales for the game have ballooned past 2.4m.

Gematsu reports Capcom’s 3DS title moved more than 213k units during the past week. While the game may have fallen off its incredible pace, the game still sold 130k copies beyond the software category’s runner-up.

Hardware sales for the 3DS LL and 3DS continue to benefit from the bonafide system seller as well, moving 93k and 40k units respectively.

No word from Capcom on the potential of Monster Hunter 4 making its way west. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, the franchise’s previous 3DS release, arrived in North America and Europe earlier this year.
