nDreams targets virtual reality publishing sector

Virtual reality studio nDreams wants to release other developers’ VR games.

The firm has only published its own products so far, but now CEO Patrick O’Luanaigh wants nDreams to become the Team17 or Curve of the VR space.

We are now looking for third-party titles,” O’Luanaigh said.

We’ve seen great companies like Team17 and Curve do some fantastic things in the publishing space in more traditional areas, and we’re very keen to do something similar and build something very rapidly in VR. We’re constantly growing and expanding. We’re very serious about being a major UK publisher, focusing specifically on VR.”

O’Luanaigh says that nDreams can help studios with funding, development, PR, and marketing.

The company’s virtual reality title The Assembly will launch on Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and PlayStation VR later this year.
