VIDEO: PSP Go info leaked ahead of E3

Video footage and hi-res pictures of the anticipated PSP redesign, the PSP Go, have emerged online ahead of Sony’s planned reveal at E3 next Tuesday.

VG247 got hold of a Qore video that was supposed to be posted on the US version of PSN immediately after the platform holder’s E3 presentation. Sony’s senior product manager John Koller is seen discussing the new machine – there’s even mention of a brand new Metal Gear Solid title for the handheld, too.

Apparently, the PSP Go! houses 16GB of internal memory and the capacity for more via memory cards. It’s also said that it will retail alongside the current PSP 3000, and will be released this autumn. In addition, Eurogamer has published a number of hi-res photos of the device.

Without official confirmation the possibility remains that it could be a hoax – but if it is then it’s undoubtedly the best hoax the games industry has ever seen. Check out the video below and decide for yourself:

UPDATE: The video has vanished from YouTube. If you saw it in time, good for you. If not, Tuesday’s not long to wait.

UPDATE 2: An HD version of the Qore video is up on Youtube. How long it will last is hard to say. Check it out below the ad:
