No God of War remake for UK

European gamers will not be getting their hands on Sony’s remakes of God of War and God of War 2 for PS3 this year, SCEE has confirmed – though the platform holder hasn’t ruled out a release some time in 2010.

We are currently looking into options to bring God of War I and II to SCEE consumers on PS3,” a spokesperson told VG247.

However it will not be possible to release the games this calendar year. We will provide further information in due course.”

Sony Santa Monica is currently working on the 720p remakes which are due out in North America in time for Christmas.
