JAPAN: Yakuza 4 shifts 384k in week one

Yakuza 4 has sold 384,000 units in its first week on sale in Japan, taking the top spot in the weekly software charts.

The game more than tripled the sales of its closest competitor Gandamuasarutosavaibu, a PSP title that shifted 91,000 copies in the same week.

Nintendo’s Pokmon Ranger: Miracle Of Light came in third with 49,000 units, according to GoNintendo.

Yakuza 3 made its UK debut earlier this month, and Sega recently announced a fifth instalment in the series is already in the works.
