UK CHARTS: Dead Space 2 on top

Dead Space 2 has shot straight to the top of the UK All Formats Top 40 chart this week.

EA’s horror sequel outperformed its predecessor which debuted at No.6 when it was released on October 24th, 2008.

Sony’s LittleBigPlanet 2 and EA’s FIFA 11 drop one place each to No.2 and No.3 respectively, while Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood rises one position to No.4.

Activision’s Black Ops falls to No.5 – one spot above Ubisoft’s Just Dance 2. Elsewhere, the original Just Dance and Nintendo’s Art Academy re-enter the Top Ten at No.10 and No.9.

Other re-entries into the Top 40 this week include Ubisoft’s My Fitness Coach: Dance Workout at No.23, Warner’s LEGO Batman at No.27 and Blizzard’s WoW: Battle Chest at No.36.
