3DS Launch Party: In Pictures

Games industry professionals, stars of music and TV, and invited fans flocked to Old Billingsgate last night for the official launch party of Nintendo 3DS.

Demo stands allowed everyone to try out practically every major DS title in development, with Mario and Luigi overseeing the proceedings.

The night’s entertainment was hosted by comedian Russell Kane and kicked off with up-and-coming girl band Parade. They were followed by new rave band Hadouken!

The entertainment drew to a close with the headline act Plan B, who performed some of their best hits.

Some of the famous faces that turned up to this star-studded event include Louise Redknapp and Jodie Kidd, Eastenders’ Samantha Janus, Jonathon Ross. Other, more elusive guests included Joe Calzaghe, Avid Merrion, Dancing on Ice’s Jason Gardiner and Lethal Bizzle.
