MICROSOFT: Mass Effect 3 Kinect support confirmed

Developer BioWare has confirmed that upcoming RPG Mass Effect 3 will offer Kienct compatibility.

Specifically, it will allow gamers to interact with the galaxy-spanning title via voice recognition.

Primarily it will be used to select dialogue options, though it will also offer players the chance to command their squad on the battlefield. Controller support will remain available as usual.

It gives Xbox 360 Kinect a significant hardcore gaming boost and significantly shifts its market position beyond just the casual sector. This strategy is supported by the news revealed just minutes ago that FIFA 12 will also support the device.
