Potential Mass Effect: Andromeda release date leaked by official art book

A slip up on the Amazon listing for the official Mass Effect: Andromeda art book may have revealed the game’s release date.

Destructoid noticed that the listing for The Art of Mass Effect: Andromeda on the US version of Amazon currently has a release date of March 21st 2017. Now in of itself that isn’t exactly news to write home about, however the description of the book states that it will launch alongside the game.

Dark Horse will release The Art of Mass Effect: Andromeda simultaneously with the game!” reads the description.

This suggests that both the art book and the game will be launching on March 21st 2017, which is a Tuesday. Big game releases like Mass Effect typically launch on Tuesdays worldwide, adding further weight to this potential leak.

Of course there has been no word from EA or Bioware on the leak, so chances are we will have to wait until N7 day (November 7th) to find out more about the new Mass Effect.

Mass Effect: Andromeda was originally set to release this year, but was bumped to 2017 in March of this year. A small delay of a few months until March 2017 certainly sounds realistic, as it gives the team a good chunk of extra time, without delaying things too much.
