Re-jigged XCOM FPS nearing second reveal?

Having vanished off the face of the earth last week, Take-Two’s XCOM FPS could be on the verge of a return.

CVG reckons that a viral video seemingly based on the recent Russian meteor sighting contains the term ‘whathappenedin62′ in its source code.

MCV readers will know that Take-Two recently registered a host of domains based around two terms – thebureau-game.com and whathappenedin62.com. That move came at the same time as the game’s official website was taken down and all associated videos wiped from 2K’s YouTube channel.

The talk is that the game has undergone a significant redesign and a possible rebranding.

Adding fuel to the fire, some of the UK games press have reportedly recently been in receipt of obscure XCOM-related promo material.
