Rumour: Fallout 4 leaked documents confirm New England setting

Fallout 4 exists and will take place in and around the greater Boston, Massachusetts area – according to a series of allegedly leaked documents.

The documents, a set of scripts and character descriptions obtained by Kotaku, provides info on plot and setting for the yet to be announced title.

The site notes that although the term Fallout is absent from the documents, several past locations along with the game’s famous Ron Perlman-spoken phrase war never changes” are mentioned throughout the bits of script. The casting director listed is the same individual that worked on Skyrim and Dishonored as well.

When approached about the documents, Bethesda provided no comment – though VG247 keenly points out that the studio was supposedly scouting locations in the area last year, including Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
