Sony confirms Playstation E3 press event

Sony has sent out invitations to its Playstation E3 2013 press event, confirming it will join Microsoft in showing off its wares a day ahead of the industry expo in Los Angeles.

The conference takes place on June 10th at 6pm Pacific, just hours afterMicrosoft’s eventtakes place at 10am that morning.While the firm didn’t go into details, it will likely show off a mixed bag of upcoming titles for PS4, PS3 and Vita.

Sony livestreamed their showcase in 2012, but no word yet on whether the company plans to do so again this year.

Nintendo, the other member of the big three, announced it would be bowing out of the pre-E3 festivities – instead saving the would-be reveals for its Nintendo Direct events.
