Final Fantasy Versus XIII has finally been seen in public, but it’s undergone a name change.
Now titled Final Fantasy IV, the game appears to use the next generation engine shown off at last year’s E3.
Final Fantasy IV is set in a similar universe to Final Fantasy XIII, blending fantasy, sci-fi and reality. It was introduced by FFXIII director Tetsura Nomura during Sony’s E3 press conference and will be heading to PlayStation 4.
Nomura had another surprise for Final Fantasy fans, confirming that Kingdom Hearts is also in development for PS4.
