Sony looking for right time to "re-announce" The Last Guardian

Patience, Team Ico fans – Sony hasn’t yet abandoned plans to release much-delayed PS3 title The Last Guardian.

In fact, SCE Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida has told CVG that the platform holder is waiting for the right time to re-announce” the game, presumably as a PS4 title.

"Yeah we are still making it,” he insisted. So we are still waiting for the right time to announce it. To re-announce it. So, we have decided not to discuss this yet."

The last communication about the game, which was first announced in 2009, was a pair of mixed messages in June.

SCEA boss Jack Tretton said that The Last Guardian is certainly not going away but it is on hiatus right now" only for Yoshida to correct him, stating that "The game is in active development – nothing has changed”.
