Sony: Vita will have our strongest launch line-up ever

GAMESCOM: While Sony didn’t announce any concrete launch details for PlayStation Vita today, there were still plenty of hints about what is to come.

Towards the beginning of the platform holder’s Gamescom press conference, Sony’s SVP of Worldwide Studios Europe Michael Denny claimed the upcoming handhled will have "the strongest launch line-up ever on a PlayStation format".

He confirmed that first-party launch titles will include a mixture of established IPs, such as LittleBigPlanet and Uncharted: Golden Abyss, and new IP, including Little Deviants and Ruin.

Meanwhile, Jim Ryan – who is due to take over Andrew house as president and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe – promised plenty of third-party support, with six Ubisoft titles at launch. These will include a brand new Assassin’s Creed ttile, as well as Rayman Origins and Michael Jackson: The Experience.

He went on to champion the number of third-party titles currently in development for PS Vita, including Call of Duty, BioShock, Virtua Tennis, FIFA, Street Fighter X Tekken and Dust 514.
