Titanfall Xbox 360 edition receives slight delay

The Xbox 360 version of Titanfall has suffered a slight delay, publisher EA has announced.

EA’s executive vice president Patrick Sderlund confirmed on the firm’s website that the 360 version will arrive two weeks after the game’s original launch on Xbox One and Windows PC.

"[It gives Xbox 360 developer Bluepoint] the time they need to put the finishing touches on the current-gen version of the game," Sderlund wrote.

"The extra two weeks will ensure the full world of Xbox gamers has an awesome experience."

The 360 edition will now arrive on March 25th in North America, and March 28th in Europe. The Xbox One/PC launch is still on schedule for March 11th in North America, and March 13th in Europe.

Earlier this week, Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment revealed that the PC version will require EA’s Origin client to play.
