Luis “Peacemaker” Tadeu to coach North American Counter-Strike team Misfits

Misfits have confirmed that Luis Tadeu will be staying on as the American Counter-Strike team’s coach.

Tadeu, known by his handle, Peacemaker, joined the team on a trial basis recently and was spotted coaching the team at a tournament last month. He’s had a busy few months. Tadeu left Liquid in October, before spending a month with NRG and then linking up with OpTic for a short time in February.

“People that know me as a coach know that my motto is having a hard work environment and something that really drives me (is) new challenges,” Tadeu said in a statement to Slingshot eSports at the time. “When I first joined Immortals, everybody doubted our potential, same happened with Team Liquid and might happen once again with Misfits, but as long as I have enough time and stability to work, I know what I’m capable of doing.”

“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work with a great mind like Luis,” Misfits captain Sean Gares said in a statement confirming Tadeu’s appointment. “I’ve admired Luis’ structure/style since arriving in North America and think he can bring tons of new ideas to the team.”
