Mysterious Monkeys pick up Amazing and Kikis

Mateusz ‘Kikiz’ Szkudlarek and Maurice ‘Amazing’ Stückenschneider are joining German League of Legends outfit Mysterious Monkeys.

Several tweets featuring monkey emojis and cryptic comments led to rumours the pair would be joining up with the Monkeys, but Dot Esports has checked Riot’s player database to confirm the move, where the players are now listed as part of the team.

The pair leave Fnatic’s roster, and are replacing Park ‘Jisa’ Jin-cheol and Leon ‘Lamabear’ Kruger, although an official announcement has still not been made, although they’ll have their work cut out. Mysterious Monkeys have lost all four of their opening matches so far this split, and this roster change could be essential if the team want to avoid a relegation. Amazing and Kikis are experienced players, so Mysterious Monkeys will no doubt be hopeful they can help change the team’s luck.

If the team’s fortunes don’t turn around, MM will soon be looking towards a relegation struggle, a situation they’re no doubt keen to avoid.
