The US edition of the next Tiger Woods game will see the title star share the cover of the game with golf legend Arnold Palmer.
Palmer is one of the most successful golfers to ever grace the green with 92 professional recorded victories, 62 of which happened on the PGA Tour.
Previously available in PGA Tour 05 and 06, the decision to bring back Palmer as a playable character coincides with the game’s inclusion of a series of ‘historic edition’ courses.
This move looks like targeting more seasoned golf veterans by putting a focus on a sporting legend like Palmer and including the classic golf courses.
A special European version of the cover will be revealed soon, says EA.
Other new features for the game that EA has announced include the addition of Keegan Bradley, Bud Cauley, Stacy Lewis and Lexi Thompson to the list of 25 playable golfers in the game.
