VIDEO: New Destiny trailer gives more story details

Activision has released a new trailer for its upcoming MMO FPS title Destiny.

The video – entitled New Beginnings – was shown during last night’s Sony conference. It sheds more light on the title’s narrative and the backstory of in-game character The Traveller as well as showing off some gameplay.

The footage is narrated by robot character Ghost, voiced by Peter Dinklage of Game of Thrones fame.

It was also revealed at last night’s conference that PlayStation owners will be able to access the title’s beta on July 17th. Further to this,PlayStation Plus subscribers can play an alpha build of the game from June 12th for one week only.

This is in addition to the announcement of a Destiny/PS4 bundle, including a white 500GB console and controller.

Destiny will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 9th.
