VIDEO: The Crew arriving on next-gen consoles this autumn

Ubisoft has confirmed a loose release window for PS4, Xbox One and PC racer The Crew.

The game will be released in the autumn, although that’s as specific as the publisher is willing to get right now.

Says Ubisoft: The Crew is a revolutionary action-driving game that takes gamers on an exhilarating ride throughout a massive, open-world recreation of the United States, brimming with exciting challenges and populated by other real players.”

There’s also a Golden Plates treasure hunt competition. Apparently a number of these will be hidden in the game’s assets and trailers. Keying them into the official website at launch unlock some in-game goodies.

The question now is whether Sony’s Driveclub will hit PS4 before Ubisoft’s title. And there’s even a chance that the rumoured Forza Horizon 2 could be making an Xbox One pit stop around the same time.
